V7.1 builds on the reputation of the highly rated SurfStats Log Analyzer V7.0. In addition it boasts a host of new features. Compared to V7.0 the following is new in V7.1:
Licensing and Registration changes
- None - per computer licensing. Some detail in License Agreement.
Enhancements and bug fixes
- New improved setup application.
- Default installation in version specific folder (for instance c:\Program Files\Surfstats7100).
- Conversion Tracking. Tracks if visitors reached target web pages. Please refer to www.surfstats.com/conversiontracking.
- Support for Cisco PIX and Microsoft ISA format improved in Enterprise Edition.
- Fast Mode for proxy log analysis.
- Fixed storing of output FTP passwords on profiles.
- Improved user interface.
- Problem with long watch filters fixed.
- Help added at bottom of reports.
- Problem with password field when restoring XML backup fixed.
- Backing up / Restoring also backs up views settings on profiles.
- MS Word option available in Standard Edition. Bug in V7.0 version showed only HTML option.
- Table of Contents generated correctly when sending reports to a folder.
- Log entries at end of day correctly handled.
- Regeneration of reports from main application works correctly now.
- Improved error handling with problem log files.
- Application background color can be selected.
- Summary and detail view of profiles. Print of profile list.
- View set editor (Professional and Enterprise).
SurfStats Scheduling
- Description of service name in Windows services database.
- Scheduled generation of reports to folder, email and FTP fixed.
